Now and again, we will retire a cat from our breeding program. This can happen for a variety of reasons; the cat is deemed finished as a breeder and retired,  the cat has become sterile, perhaps it just doesn’t appear to thrive as a breeder, etc. For reasons like this, it becomes necessary for us to retire the cat. These cats are otherwise healthy and deserve a loving home environment. This is always a difficult decision as these cats have earned a special place in our hearts and letting them go is never easy. We encourage people to consider adopting a retired bengal when looking for a pet as they have so much to offer. Leaving a cattery and becoming part of a family means the cat will receive so much more individual attention and in turn, the cat will bring you love, loyalty and much joy.
